Lost and alone, he sets out to find his brothers. Did they keep the faith? Perhaps their stories will help him figure out his own. The music and sound is amazing. Thank you Chris Christodoulou ⭐️
Before you roll your eyes, hear me out. If the world was being flooded I’d loose my faith to, not because a family that saved from a plane crash died in a car accident, but because God promised he wouldn’t flood the earth. If you know anything about church history, even Christ himself then you’d understand sin, iniquity, and suffering. The author has clearly never had faith so he struggles to write believable priest. Instead these characters exist to amplify the reason the author denies God. You... more
This is an absolutely gorgeous exploration of life, death, and most of all, faith. The actor is incredible. The music is moving and haunting. The writing and editing is perfection. The entire production is world class. Highly recommend.
This is a wonderful exploration of faith, morality, and our place in the world as either children of god or cosmically random worm food.
Extremely well written and read.
What a wonderful little podcast. I recommend listening to it in one go if you can. Beautiful music and excellet storytelling. I'm not quite sure what to say about it or how to categorize it, but I implore you to listen. I think this is a podcast that everyone can take something away from regardless of religion (or lack there of) and I absolutely loved the portrayal of the sea. She IS vast and she WILL take everything.

I first became aware of this through the composer, who is responsible for incredible work on several great games (including a Deadbolt Track sneaking into the drama). Yet this is far more complex and beautiful than I could have ever expected. It not only voices my own religious doubts in elegant fashion, but also combines nihilism and faith in a beautiful work of sheer perseverance. Excellent on every level.
Beautiful work of art this podcast is
Story keeps you entertained, immersed and gets you thinking.
Can't recommend this highly enough! Both the premise and the execution are flawless. I was surprised by how much I liked - loved! - this.
this podcast is less than two hours listening but i think perhaps it will haunt me for the next six years. writing, soundtrack and narrative delivery are all absolutely fantastic. thoroughly recommended
I just finished re-listening to this, and I fell even more in love with it! It feels quiet and haunting and bittersweet, and it’s so gorgeously written that as I listened to it I made sure to write my favorite quotes down. Looking forward to listening to it again!❤️
I'm a big fan of Peter Wingfield, which is how I learned about the podcast. Once I started listening, I was hooked. Well written, I couldn't help but care about the character and his brethren. I'm not doing a good job of explaining, but I really enjoyed it.
This podcast is beyond words. Literally. It’s not what I thought it would be by the title or description- I am so grateful I hit the play button. Comforting, brilliant, beautiful, thought-provoking, and so very human. I’m only commenting here in the hopes that there will be more exposure to this show and to come later!
This may be Jonas Kyratzes' strongest work yet - human yet sublime. Peter Wingfield brings the same delightful gravitas he brought to Methos in Highlander, and the music by Chris Christodoulou is similarly magnificent. Recommended!
This short fiction series is told from the eyes of a person encountering a modern-day, global Deluge. It’s a meditation on faith vs religion, on humanity and purpose, and on surviving through impossible cataclysm. Recommended!
