Azathoth Blues is a cosmic horror audio drama created by Jonas Kyratzes (The Talos Principle) and Chris Christodoulou (Risk of Rain), who previously brought you Gospels of the Flood.
Something is deeply wrong in the city. Strange murders are being ignored, dangerous new drugs are spreading, corporations are corrupting everything they touch, and the law itself seems to have a price tag.

I’m really enjoying this - the writing is fantastic, as are the characters. You completely get a sense of the sickly city. Great voice acting too. I also enjoy its criticism of tech, which I also hate! Aside from the tech that lets me listen to this podcast lol
Beautifully acted, painstakingly (and poetically) written, with gorgeous music! I look forward to more and more from this author!
its great, good story , really enjoying it
Enjoying this one!

An excellent podcast with a dreamily oppressive atmosphere, superb performances and high production values. Though the series wears its primary influence on its sleeve (or title), at least at the moment it doesn't seem to be descending into the typical motifs of the generic fishfood-obsessed HPL pastiche.

A dark, atmospheric crime noir with cosmic horror overtones, exploring corruption, ritual, and conspiracy in a dystopian city. Episodes hinge on a small team from the Unified Cold Case Taskforce as they untangle murders, hidden identities, and a power structure that seems to pull strings behind the scenes. Fans can expect tense investigations, surreal imagery, and a creeping sense of paranoia powered by strong voice acting and immersive sound design. The show often centers on institutional flaws, moral compromises, and the monstrous scale of corruption, all delivered through a gritty, episodic narrative that rewards patient listeners with dense worldbuilding and a lingering mystery.
