Good in Theory: A Political Philosophy Podcast

Clif Mark

Good in Theory is a podcast about political philosophy and how it can help us understand the world today. Want to know what's in Plato's Republic or Hobbes's Leviathan but don't want to read them? This is your pod. I explain my favourite books in political theory in enough detail that you’ll feel like you read them yourself. Deep but not heavy. No experience needed.

  • Listener beware, side effects may include a sudden interest in philosophy

This man made me take a philosophy class in university in my first semester. I now have to write a fifteen-page term paper. Thanks Clif.

  • My favourite politics & philosophy podcast

I listen to a lot of Podcasts, but rarely have enjoyed Podcasts about poltical theory / philosophy… Until now! I don’t have any bsckground in polticial theory or philosophy, and I’ve learned a lot from Clif whilst also regularly laughing out loud. This podcast is a great combination of smart and insightful whilst also being fun and accessible. Thanks Clif, keep up the great work!

  • Plato would have loved this.

Clif has kept the essentials of philosophy and updated the sensibilities. This is really fine work. I can’t wait to listen to the next episode. Come bask in the clarity! You only have the chains that shackle you in the cave to lose!
