  • If you’re not a bond fan, don’t do a podcast about bond

It’s very clear these guys aren’t fans. Their cinema experience is great but if you’re critiquing the bond franchise, watching the movies and or reading the books should bring you some sort of enjoyment. In the FRWL episode the host says ‘I actually forget M is bond’s boss’. That’s is asinine to me given the emphasized importance of M in the books. I continually turn the pod off when I get frustrated and then turn it back on when I want more punishment. 1 martini rating

  • Vulgar language

Would be a 5 star podcast if they didn’t drop the f-bomb so often. Maybe these two aren’t parents, however many of us listen to podcasts around our kids.

I love the deep dive into each film. Jonathan and Chris also do some great critiquing of the movies as they do have their flaws despite all being entertaining movies. more

  • I don’t think they like James Bond

Each episode we hear about how they didn’t really like the movie. They point out that James Bond movies aren’t very logical each week. more
