I love Dan’s honest and humble approach, especially his goal to bring more people into the plant based fold. It’s not about perfection, it’s about small steps to be healthier and kinder to the earth, to animals and to ourselves. He comes to the subject with earnestness and curiosity, not judgment or boring beat you over the head with data. He’s had lots of interesting conversations and has turned me onto many other podcasters and bloggers. Keep doing the great work you’re doing, Dan!!
I love this podcast as it is great for anyone that has a marginal curiosity around how to “do vegan”, to long term vegans who will learn new tips and tricks from other’s journeys. Dan is a great interviewer and more importantly a great listener. Dan allows his guest’s to unfold their own story and each one is different. ‘Going Vegan’ is full of important info and every day tips that don’t feel preachy which is refreshing to the non vegans and vegans alike.
I love hearing different people’s journeys and tips, each episode leaves me with something interesting to try or think about!
Intro is too long. One episode was ~4 minutes of fluff before the interview/discussion began. The show also needs some editing. Lots of verbal pauses, words mispronounced, etc. Put in the work to clean it up and make it easy to listen to. For a startup you should be focused on the little things if you’re trying to grow an audience.
Awesome and informative series about the various aspects of the vegan lifestyle.
