Adrienne Green: Designing a Values-Aligned Life of Travel, Family, and Freedom
Q: What has been the most rewarding aspect of redefining success for you personally and for your family?
The opportunity to spend abundant time with my children, homeschool them, and travel the world while ensuring our work remains aligned with our mission and values; it has transformed our family dynamics and personal growth.
Adrienne Green: Designing a Values-Aligned Life of Travel, Family, and Freedom
Q: How do you handle self-doubt and fear when making big career pivots into entrepreneurship?
I create a concrete five-year vision, break it into yearly and quarterly goals, and delegate the rest to avoid bottlenecks, which reduces fear by providing a clear plan and a reliable support system.
Adrienne Green: Designing a Values-Aligned Life of Travel, Family, and Freedom
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about how your definition of success has changed and how that's affected how you've designed your life as a leader?
Success now centers on time and location freedom and the ability to provide that for my kids; I shifted from climbing the corporate ladder to building a life that supports family, travel, and teaching—while growing businesses that enable this lifestyle.
Justin Davis: From AI Founder to Human Connection Architect
Q: What led you to shift from leading big companies to creating Eleven Dunbar and a focus on community, play, and healing for founders and professionals?
After a sabbatical following an exit, I confronted a personal metamorphosis shaped by grief and burnout. I realized I wanted to impact people more directly through relationships and shared rituals than through scaling a company alone. Eleven Dunbar emerged from a desire to recreate the supportive, human environment I valued in previous ventures, scaled to a community of about 150 people with specific relational spaces, an “11th space” for creativity, and an “integration space” for daily practices.
Justin Davis: From AI Founder to Human Connection Architect
Q: Can you talk a little bit about your trajectory over that time in your career, or what kind of companies you had, what kind of companies you built, and some of the milestones of tech that happened early in the days of AI deployments?
The early years were about rapid learning at scale, from hands-on sales at Cisco to building ad tech and martech infrastructure on a massive scale, then leading Crux to a Salesforce exit, and finally focusing on safety tech at Spectrum Labs. The throughline is that people and culture enabled big technology moves, with leadership evolving from CEO roles toward building environments where teams can thrive, trust, and collaborate even during disruption.
