  • Love Alex and Jon’s authenticity

I found Alex and Jon through their content/videos on instagram. I absolutely love their podcast! It feels like I’m hanging out with friends as I listen to stories about their weekly life, updates, and banter. I appreciate how honest they are when they share about the ups and downs of their life, and advice given during questions. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to relate to their content anymore when they became parents, but I have actually learned so much from them about how to show up an... more

I listen to this podcast to keep me awake when I’m feeding my baby at night! I love Jon and Alex! I had miscarried the around the same time and they really got me through that time in my life. I also had our rainbow baby around the same time as well and I just love the baby content! They are funny and non apologetic which they should be!

  • Long time listener, First time reviewer

I should have listen to the: “trigger warning, listen at your discretion”, and FF.

As someone (like many) who has lost someone to suicide (and maybe I’ll go one step further in saying, being at the scene and seeing the person I lost), I beg you, please don’t have a conversation about feelings someone should have regarding the person and situation, if you personally haven’t lost someone to it.

I first found your guys’s podcast through the reels on Facebook and I found myself always looking forward to when I stumble upon your videos and I enjoyed listening to your short reels that I decided I should just listen to the whole podcast. so I actually watch you guys on YouTube and I wanted to know how to make a review when in last week’s episode John said to go to Apple iTunes, so I downloaded the podcast app on my phone just to make a review. • Used to be good

I used to love this pod and was so sad when they took a break (for understandable reasons ofc). Now that cute playful bickering isn’t so cute anymore and honestly annoying. This pod I skipped halfway, because they don’t get to the questions until half way and I can’t stand Alex’s negative snarkiness anymore, and there was barely anytime spent on the questions. But in their own words “we don’t care if you listen or not” so after listening for years, I’m gonna finally choose the “not” part

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

85. Giving you mama’s boys, manifesting, and ultimatums
Q: Is having a secret Finsta like this just a fun guilty pleasure, or is it crossing a line?
It's crossing a line; having a secret account to check up on exes is not a healthy habit and may indicate underlying issues.
85. Giving you mama’s boys, manifesting, and ultimatums
Q: How can I effectively get my husband and her to understand that this actually creates more work for me?
Redirect her involvement in a way that feels supportive rather than invasive, but also don't hesitate to voice your discomfort with her overstepping boundaries.
85. Giving you mama’s boys, manifesting, and ultimatums
Q: Am I asking for too much or am I settling for too little?
You're asking for the bare minimum of a relationship; if you've been together for five years and they don't include you in family gatherings, that's not normal.
82. Giving you elf on the shelf, gift giving, and thoughtfulness
Q: How do we get to a place where we could both be happy with gifts? Am I the asshole for wanting a thoughtful present every once in a while?
You're not the asshole; you need to express your feelings and expectations about gift-giving and find a compromise that works for both of you.
82. Giving you elf on the shelf, gift giving, and thoughtfulness
Q: How do I make people see their version of helping me isn't helpful at all?
Consider giving back the unwanted gifts and communicating clearly to gift-givers about your needs and preferences.
