This is a fantastic podcast! Love that the girls learn D&D as they play and the DM is really good about explaining the rules while being flexible for great storytelling moments. I binged the series while working, and now I have to wait for new episodes. Can’t recommend this show enough
This podcast is amazing. I can’t imagine anyone making D&D more fun than this amazing, funny and creative group of people. I want to be their friend, and play D&D with them
Just listen to the first episode. Honestly, it’s all there from the get-go. Incredible storytelling from 4 friends doing something much bigger than they set out to do. Excitement, adventure, and hilarious moments. Plus occasional educational moments on Aussi slang and how to properly refer to various groups of animals. Yes, it’s an actual play podcast (with an impeccable grasp on *just* the right amount of details to include in editing) but it’s also so. much. more.
I was relistening and *minor spoilers!* found the episode where the “lets rock!” first happened and it reminded me of how much i love this podcast
I have waited until finishing campaign 1 to provide my feedback, but now that I’m done (no spoilers) I want to first thank these four wonderful Aussies for putting their heart into this masterpiece. Glad you advertised on Join The Party so I found out about you. But this review is about Freya. I have consumed Dimension 20, Adventure Zone, JTP, and a bunch of other Actual Plays but I think Freya is my favorite character of all. MASSIVE kudos to Indy for being fearless and just taking big swings. ... more
