I started listening a month or two ago and am trying hard to pace myself so I don’t catch up too quickly. I regularly laugh out loud! Cory is a fantastic storyteller and the girls are such charismatic story-players.
Great character growth skillfully written into surreal, hilarious, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and always exciting storylines, against the backdrop of beautifully crafted locations. With some wonderful contributions from guest actors and fans, Corey, Coop, and the inimitable, incredible girls make this first foray into DnD’s mechanics and rules so much fun. Enjoy at your own peril!
The show strikes such a delicate balance on all sides: goofy but not amateur, authentic not actors, great quality but not overproduced, amazing story that leans into the Indy’s, Alana’s, and Stacey’s shenanigans and not entirely pre-written. It feels like you’re sitting down at the table and playing with friends.
