  • Missed the point

Tried three different episodes and all they talk about is other shows or podcasters. So little talk about the wonder of geocaching and the treasure hunt appeal

Geocaching is great fun and exciting, this podcast sadly isn’t.

Geocache Talk - Datruck - Geocache Build Essentials
Q: Where do you suggest a beginner starts when building their first cache?
Begin with a simple birdhouse cache because plans are plentiful and the project teaches the basics of cutting, hinging, and sealing; this builds confidence before moving to more complex gadget caches.
Gadget Talk - How to Design 3D Prints!
Q: Can you design something complex in Tinkercad?
Yes, Tinkercad allows for the design of complex things, but it might take longer and require more patience compared to advanced software.
Gadget Talk - How to Design 3D Prints!
Q: What is a parametric design?
It's a design based on set parameters that update the model when parameters are changed, unlike Tinkercad's more direct design approach.
Geocache Talk - Earthcache Bingo
Q: How about one of those digital souvenirs like Worldwide Cache Con for bingo completions?
That's a cool idea. It's possible to consider that for future iterations of the game.
Geocache Talk - Earthcache Bingo
Q: Do past finds pre-2026 count?
No, only finds made in calendar year 2026 count.
