  • Better than it should be

It’s fair to say that the quality of this pod is a lot better than the quality of the football you will see on show at the Mem. I go and watch the gas on my own but tuning into this pod is like having a group of mates to discuss the game with afterwards. They always have a balanced view on things and it’s great to know that there are genuinely good people like this involved with our football club. 💙🤍💙🤍

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Wait is Over!
Q: What's your views on the past two games, Bracket, Oldham and Cambridge?
Weeksy provided insights indicating a better performance in the Oldham game but emphasized the need for any win at this point.
Taylor Sacked
Q: What do you think the new manager needs to do different from Taylor to get the best out of this squad of players?
The new manager needs to sort out the full-back and centre-mid situation and encourage a more attacking style of play for the forwards.
Beaten But Buoyed
Q: Do you think it felt like another of those win or bust games for Matt Taylor?
It felt like if Hutchinson didn’t score the goal, it would have been a whole lot worse for him.
Barton Sacked
Q: Do you think this is a results-driven decision, lost the dressing room, off-field issues, or a combination of all three?
It's probably a combination, with around 50-60% driven by results, 20-30% by off-field issues, and about 10% regarding the dressing room.
Taylor: Stick or Twist?
Q: If we lose at Cheltenham, is it taxi for Taylor?
Yes, if we lose all four, I think the board will sack him.
