  • great show!

I listened to the episode on work life balance with Carol Enneking. I appreciated the emphasis on how we can't show up to everything 100% of the time, so we have to be clear on our goals and desired legacy. I appreciate how the host is encouraging dads to find balance in being present for their kids while pursuing their work goals.

  • Appreciate the Clear Focus

Love a podcast that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone. The best niche shows know exactly who they’re talking to, and Michael never loses sight of that.

  • So relatable!

Even though I’m a mom, not a dad, the episode on mental fitness interviewing Colin Thompson gave me a lot of great takeaways. A few of my favorites: When working at home, establish clear boundaries between work/parenting, this will allow you to be fully present for both. It’s ok to take a little time to decompress in the bathroom/basement/walking when transitioning from work mode to parent mode. I like the five unrelated questions that host Michael inserts at the end of the interview. Michael is... more

  • For Any Dad Trying to Do Better

This podcast is a great reminder that life is bigger than work — which, honestly, some of us need tattooed on our foreheads. If you have kids, it doesn’t just tell you to show up differently; it gives you a real sense of how to start.
