医師です。幹弥先生とはかなり異なる医師人生を過ごしています。
しかし、お話を聞いていて、感覚が近いと感じています。善悪の判断、世間を騒がす事案への感想、支持政党の根拠、皇位継承の考え方等々、幹弥先生が忌憚なく何でもお話しされるので、親近感を感じやすいポッドキャストに仕上がっています。
医師としての感覚も、「高須の息子」としか知らなかった頃とは180度違う印象を持ちました。レッテルに苦しみながらも、実直に努力なさってきた先生なのだとわかりました。
気になったのは、幹弥先生の女性観を聞くと、日頃接している女性たちの様子が垣間見え、せっかく医師になったのにその女性観であるのは気の毒だと感じました。聡明な女性たちとの交流が持ちにくい分野なのかなと。美容外科で勤めるというのはこういうことなのかと間接的に知ることができました。
また、幹弥先生の美的感覚や若さの基準は、美容外科寄りの偏ったものと注意すべきでしょう。
直美全盛の時代、真面目に美容医療に取り組んできた老舗クリニックの医師の話は貴重です。直美を安易に考える医学生や研修医は、まずは幹弥の話を聞け。
