Anyone who spends time on fiscal federalism has my vote.
Alok seems to be a well read and experienced lawyer engaged in public policy matters. His views may be considered to be biased but he’s bearable as messenger of information.
Sarayu on the other hand has been the dumb sidekick on the podcast with almost little to nothing substantial to add to the conversation, save anecdotal experiences of her college life. I am unsure as to the reason of her presence on the show, may be she’s the daughter of an IAS officer or Alok is trying to score her. God ... more
What the headline says – I enjoy the content whenever I can understand it, but there have been multiple episodes where the audio production has been bad that the podcast is unintelligible. Invest in better audio equipment.
I was pleasantly surprised by the in-depth analysis, learned guests and a coherent look at various institutions in India.
Alok and Sarayu are the best type of hosts and interviewers: they sit back and listen to the experts and ask the right questions for laymen listeners like myself to understand all sides of an issue, and chip in only when they have their own quality insight to offer.
A must listen for all Indians.
