  • Merging history and RPG in a elegant way

This podcast is a great listen if you either like history or RPGs set in a historical setting. Most of the stuff ties in to the game Ars Magica but the general approach to things I find easily works, with a little tweaking, for almost any historical themed RPG. Most fantasy as well, as many of them usually have a lot of lore in their world as well.

  • Nicely research and interesting!

Very interesting and insightful into both historical middle-age Europe and mythic Europe. The skill of the author allows even Roman plumbing deities to sound interesting and mythically important.

I particularly enjoyed the, as of now, latest episode about the role of dragons as figures in a divine play.
