  • Great Show

I’ve been a big fan Yahtzee’s work for a long time and appreciate being able to enjoy the show through Podcasts. Can I make a request? Could you put the video version through this so I’ve got the choice to watch or listen to it.

    Same with Semi Ramblomatic.

I’m glad Second Wind is doing well. I can imagine you won’t but if you considered making an Apple Podcasts subscription version of your channel I’d sign up for that in a heartbeat.

    Keep up the amazing work!

AAA Development vs. a Bag of Chips | Semi-Ramblomatic
Q: If a high level designer on a AAA project decided on a whim that a certain NPC in one part of the game needed to be, say, eating a bag of chips, what would be the process of making that happen, and how many people would be involved?
The answer involves a multi-layer collaboration: scheduling a design meeting with the designer, producers from multiple departments, and possibly art, tech, and animation; depending on the level of design, there may be attempts to scale down the idea in a design-by-committee scenario, or push for full, fully animated implementation with all required approvals and assets.
