  • Small Mind

He invokes Jesus while forgetting that He rejected the sword and confronted evil without humiliation or violence.

A gospel that depends on contempt has already drifted from the One who chose the cross instead of victory through force.

  • Lapsed, but not disengaged

As a lapsed Catholic I was hesitant to reach out past what is considered “approved.” I’m grateful that there are people pushing back against the hierarchy, wherever it is, in an effort to seek the truth.

I’ve listened to Foolproof Theology with an open mind, even though I’m not theologically or politically conservative. I often find myself deeply uncomfortable—if not outright repulsed—by the positions they take. Episode 180, where they critique *Practicing the Way*, was a prime example. Rather than offering thoughtful engagement, they come across as dismissive and mean-spirited, tearing down a sincere effort to help people grow in their faith. No matter how they try to frame it, the tone reveals... more
