  • Big fan

Normally I listen on Spotify, but I wanted to write a review here because I’ve really enjoyed this podcast all since it started. I’ve been watching Mariah’s tiktoks for a while and that’s how I started listening to this (and Hoops for Hotties). I love hearing Mariah and Lexie talk basketball and really appreciate Lexie’s inside perspective. It’s been so great to hear as I’m watching more and learning more about women’s basketball.

I so appreciate Lexie’s smart and positive approach to all of her fellow players and all the teams. She is the opposite of catty, and I’m here for it! Women always win in the WNBA.

Finals Hangover and Mailbag Questions
Q: What do you think the big trends will be in the WNBA next year?
I would love to see teams use their benches a little bit more... I would like for it to be more of a trend to dip into your bench more and to have steady backups for your stars so that they can get a little bit more rest.
Standing on Business
Q: What do you think Phoenix needs to do to get back in the series?
Phoenix needs to focus on their defense and ensure that players like Satu and AT stay out of foul trouble.
Rookies, and ranting, and rankings oh my!
Q: What are you seeing on the court?
The Valkyries are playing hard and are performing well, reflecting a refreshing style of basketball.
Rookies, and ranting, and rankings oh my!
Q: Lexie, are these games, can these games shift the MVP and the All-Star narratives right now in the W?
Right now, I don't think so. Fee is light years ahead of everybody as far as MVP.
Rookies, and ranting, and rankings oh my!
Q: Mariah, do you have an update for us?
Yes. The current top teams in Cup play are the Liberty and the Lynx, which could lead to a finals rematch.
