I agree with Mikey on the topic of being social. If someone isn't comfortable talking to new people, or being in social settings with people they have little to nothing in common with...that's who they are. It's not a choice, Putting people like Mikey into those situations is A: going to make that person uncomfortable the entire time and B: going to annoy or piss off the person that wanted them to be in that situation, because they're not "faking it" or "trying to enjoy it".
