    I’m Palestinian, Mennonite, gay and so live in a world of multiple identities. I grew up in NYC away from Mennonite churches. Even now I have far more Muslim and Jewish friends than Mennonite ones. On the one hand Mennonite Action is trying to do something so the three stars come from that. However, they only talk to Palestinians who have drunk the koolaid and miss out almost completely on the lived Palestinian experience.     We appreciated hearing about the history of Mennonite involvement with Palestinians and then more about specific non-violent actions by Palestinians. Historical acts of resistance as well as historical connections between various faith communities and people is always cause for renewed hope.
