  • Love this show!

The IG version is fun because it’s live and THIS version is SO professional and well put together! I love hearing from all of the specialists and experts. But what really sets it apart is the hosts relationship with each of them. He really puts his own special touch on each of the interviews via his relationship with each of the participants. This is a must listen if you have any interest at all in any type of medical field.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

A Paw-sitive Ending with Veterinarian Dr. Jesse Tong — On Caring For Puppies, Kittens, and Pet Owners
Q: How can owners differentiate aging from illness in pets, and when should they seek veterinary care?
Owners should look for gradual changes in activity, appetite, and ability to perform routine tasks; sudden changes or new symptoms warrant veterinary evaluation, even if the pet is usually healthy.
A Paw-sitive Ending with Veterinarian Dr. Jesse Tong — On Caring For Puppies, Kittens, and Pet Owners
Q: What are the most common health issues you see in cats and dogs, and how should owners prevent them?
Common issues include kidney disease and dental problems in cats, and vomiting, diarrhea, and skin/ear problems in dogs. Prevention includes regular wellness checks, vaccines, proper weight management, and environmental safety.
A Paw-sitive Ending with Veterinarian Dr. Jesse Tong — On Caring For Puppies, Kittens, and Pet Owners
Q: How did you choose veterinary medicine and what drew you to treat a wide range of animals?
Dr. Tong explains that veterinary medicine involves a broad spectrum of species and life stages; the appeal is the ability to address many conditions as a general practitioner while having opportunities to pursue further specializations.
Dosha and Don’ts with Nisha Saini (New York Ayurveda) — On Ayurvedic Medicine, Ashwagandha, and Turmeric
Q: How do Ashwagandha and Turmeric fit into Ayurvedic practice, and who should take them?
Ashwagandha is rejuvenative and nervine, best for Vata and Kapha while cautioning Pitta; Turmeric is warming and Kapha-balancing but may aggravate Vata or Pitta if misused, so dosing and body type matter and a practitioner should guide use.
Dosha and Don’ts with Nisha Saini (New York Ayurveda) — On Ayurvedic Medicine, Ashwagandha, and Turmeric
Q: Can you explain Dinacharya and how people should structure their day according to Ayurveda?
Dinacharya is the basic rhythm of life, establishing consistent wake times, meals, exercise, and sleep windows tailored to your Dosha, with specific times of day that support or destabilize each Dosha.
