I have been listening for years to this podcast. It is amazing. Hemant’s research tied to Jessica’s passion. Everytime Hessica sings Oklahoma, I’m right there with you. You two are a bright spot in a weary world. Thank you for everything you do.
Deconstructing my faith has been my whole life, it’s not something I just “went through.” Growing up in the system and surviving abuse in multiple churches left scars I’m still working through. I found Jessica and Hemant during one of the roughest parts of that journey, and honestly, their podcast became a lifeline. It’s more than just talk -it’s a safe space.
I use to email Hemant about every child abuse scandal I stumbled on. And he responded to every single email—I don’t even know how he did... more
This podcast is well researched and well presented. It accomplishes a rare feat of throughly covering church and state separation issues, while also being professional and entertaining in a way that I would be happy to recommend it even to religious friends and family. Hemant and Jessica, keep up the great work!
Long, long term listener from Australia. Love the discussion and dissection of the grifters and lunatics which constitute organised religion in this crazy world. It’s outrageous to me that in 2025 this is still a thing and just seems to be getting worse. Keep up the great work H and J. Love you both!
Their whining tone is exhausting. They just come off as miserable people. It would be so much more interesting if they got into historical evidence supporting their feelings/views towards God and religion. Might actually learn something then.
