  • I always listen to this podcast as soon as it pops up in my feed. Its not anti-religion, but rather anti- hypocritical assholes behaving badly. I find it extremely interesting and engaging. They stay current about things happening each week and give good updates on stories.Jessica... uffda. I have a lot of mixed feelings. She definitely takes a bit of getting used to. However, she is a good sounding board for Hement and makes the show much more entertaining. If only she would stop blowing air ou... more

  • Love u guys

Love you guys! Thinking you should do 2 podcasts a week so I can get my fix!!! You guys compliment each other perfectly! Hemant does such a wonderful job of not only finding these stories but doing the research and explaining how it affects everyone. While Jessica is so fun to listen to. The incredulity in her voice never ceases to amaze me especially after a glass or 2 of wine! Don’t let the haters hold ya down. Keep smiling and laughing even though hemant does his best to get your feathers... more

  • News of the week

Really looking forward to your next show and hope that it includes some of the hypocrisy displayed from so many people regarding the past weeks news. Just finished watching the full 17 minute speech by his widow and it is just as you might expect. Less a mournful reflection and more an advocacy for his views and his organization. Sad.

  • Informative and Entertaining

Jessica and Hemant are a fantastic combination.

Hemant does a very impressive amount of investigation, and Jessica provides color and emotional depth through her reactions and commentary (which is some much-needed amusement with how depressing the news is these days).

It’s the dynamic they share which makes this podcast something I love listening to. It’s not just basic information nor off-the-cuff chit-chatter. It is educational while also being a joy to listen to.

    I truly appreciate both... more

  • Oooooook! Lahomah.

Friendly Atheist is one (of few) weekly listens for me. These two catch me up on news I may or may not have heard about during my week and bring a big picture view of what’s happening in our society today by focusing in on the “small” or easily ignored stories that slip under most peoples’ radars. Hemant and Jessica are so opposite in personality that it brings such a balanced dynamic to the show. Screw the Jessica haters (and Hemant haters too); they both have hearts of gold.
