  • Microphone volume levels.

I have always enjoyed all of your content. Throw out the many years you guys have been doing your stuff. FWIW Marty's microphone is way louder than anyone else so it does create an issue of turning up and down the volume every time someone talks. Thanks guys!

State of the Padres farm system, John Conniff talks trade chips

The guests and hosts suggested that while there is value in top prospects, the Padres would likely need to balance short-term needs with long-term assets, and that the front office has shown a pattern of prioritizing upside over immediate returns.
State of the Padres farm system, John Conniff talks trade chips
Q: What did you think about the 2026 draft for the Padres?

Padres crucial road trip, new owners won't be ready in time, Heath Bell joins
Q: What are you looking forward to in the next 10 games?
Bell emphasizes focusing on fundamentals, hustle, and building momentum, with a push to maximize effort and execution against the road trip schedule.
The Padres need drastic changes, Kyle Glaser joins the show
Q: Can the Padres realistically trade big contracts like Bogarts or Machado without significant concessions?
Yes, but only if the right balance is found—likely requiring attaching players like Mason Miller to offset the contracts and payoff down the line; otherwise those deals are largely unmovable.
The Padres need drastic changes, Kyle Glaser joins the show
Q: What should the Padres do at the trade deadline?
All signs point to selling rather than buying, with a focus on evaluating the best offer, potentially moving Mason Miller, and clearing payroll to build for the future while not overreacting to every contract.
