Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

SHADER, Felix Hill and new music from Jacob Reddy's new project Know One!
Q: What was it like working with Gareth Nuttall on this one? What did he bring to the process?
Gareth helped trim Unknown Vision from a long, live version to a radio-friendly three-minute version, rearranging sections and guiding the track toward a bigger, more radio-friendly sound while preserving the vibe.
SHADER, Felix Hill and new music from Jacob Reddy's new project Know One!
Q: You mentioned Saved the Tears for later, which was actually, like I said, last time we spoke, it was back in August. You just released that at the time. Any exciting collaborations behind the scenes on this one?
The track was written with Dan McDougall, Liam Gallagher's drummer, and on this new release there are ongoing collaborations but Felix confirms it remains largely his own project with thoughtful production.
MOSAICS, Asgard Raven and James Holt bring the new tunes!
Q: You've talked about the idea of an album or long EP as a future goal—where do you see that path going?
I'm actively working on longer-form projects that could form a cohesive EP or album, exploring heavier themes and a darker soundworld while also balancing solo ballads and stripped-back material.
MOSAICS, Asgard Raven and James Holt bring the new tunes!
Q: What was it like working with Adrian Busby and recording in Eve Studios?
It was fantastic and energizing; Adrian brought a warm, creative approach, and working with the vintage gear there provided a unique, tactile experience that influenced the track's character.
MOSAICS, Asgard Raven and James Holt bring the new tunes!
Q: So the tune Sanguine On The Rocks, is that right?
Yes, that's correct; the track marks a slightly different direction while maintaining the core retro-leaning vibe, blending new influences with the artist's established sound.
