  • Really useful to brush up your French

I find this very helpful and the short, sharp lessons work well for me. The content is relevant to helping you to speak “real” French and find shortcuts. I’d prefer more content in French and less in English but appreciate that Caro is trying to cater to many different levels.

  • Helpful and Pleasant

I’m using Duolingo but I wanted more immersion and this is it. While I like Duolingo for vocabulary, this podcast helps me understand the depth, meaning and uses for words and phrases. I also feel I get more immersion and another example of pronunciation. I’ve looked at many sources, and this is the best one I can find with a good balance of learning and hearing.

  • It’s in English—why?

This is a nice podcast but it’s a shame that it’s in English. It’s not aimed at beginners, so why not make it in French? I feel I’m wasting my time.

  • English

I don't enjoy this podcast. The host speaks English all the time. I wish to learn some French, but here I just practice my English listening skills.

  • Good if a bit annoying

The content is good, particularly episodes on alternative ways to say common things so that you aren’t overusing the same words. However the host does sound like she learnt English from endlessly rewatching Mary Poppins or Downton Abbey - I’ve never heard a non-native English speaker trying so hard to replicate the poshest English accent imaginable. She also spews so many English idiomatic sayings with the cumulative effect being just a bit showy for my liking.
