This is my favorite of all the French language learning podcasts I have listened to. Gaëlle speaks clearly and is careful to define terms that she thinks might be unfamiliar, and generally, the definitions are given in French, which I appreciate. I also appreciate the summaries in normal paced French and wish she would do podcast ms at that level, at least occasionally. The topics are interesting, too, and her grammar lessons are excellent as well.
All episodes. Great production and programs. Well done. I may sign up for 1 on 1 courses.
The show has a lot of hours of solid French content for learners. However, you get the moral whiplash of episodes about “protecting the environment”, and then advertisements selling the usage of an AI chatbot.
Because of the AI chatbot ads, I’m out!
I love this podcast. Gaëlle speaks so clearly and at the perfect speed to be able to understand her French as an intermediate level learner. She occasionally defines a key word or phrase in English as well. Her topics are also very interesting. Love listening to this while driving, weeding, or doing housework.
Gaelle covers some very interesting topics. The slower speed followed by normal speed really helps. Thank you .

The show targets French-language learners by combining slow, clear narration with cultural, historical, and societal topics from France and Francophone regions. Episodes mix language-focused lessons—grammar, vocabulary, and practical phrases—with fascinating cultural journeys (from Grasse's perfume industry to Parisian cycling and journalistic solutions), plus profiles of artists, writers, and historical figures. A standout is Gaëlle's teaching approach: slow, accessible French paired with real-world contexts and practical transcripts, making complex topics approachable for A2 to B1 listeners while offering depth for ongoing study. The variety—arts, culture, politics, travel, and media—helps learners build vocabulary and comprehension in au... more
