Great podcast - they review a broad variety of ttrpgs with different themes and mechanics outside the norm. The podcast is a breath of fresh air. Gaming is experiencing a “golden age” of innovation and creativity and the hosts do a great job of telling the audience about the best of the best.
I love this podcast and I want to specifically call out Aaron's introductions to the different episodes. They rock.

A sharp, opinionated duo dissects RPG books and design ideas with a critical eye, frequently honing in on indie and OSR-inspired works, publishing strategies, and the tension between legality, accessibility, and creativity. Episodes cover practical publishing decisions, IP considerations, and how communities form around fan-created content, as well as design goals and the craft of making rules feel coherent and fun. The show stands out for its candid banter, deep-dive analysis, and willingness to critique mechanics and presentation with humor and clarity, making it a valuable listen for designers, writers, and publishers navigating the TTRPG landscape.
