Formosa FilesFormosa Files由陳啓川文教基金會贊助，是目前全世界已知唯一用講故事的方式講述臺灣歷史的英文podcast。從2021年9月啓動以來，以英文為全球127個國家的聽眾播送臺灣的歷史故事。 但我們想🤔，既然是臺灣的故事，不應該更親近臺灣的聽眾朋友嗎？ 2024年4月，Formosa Files 中文版podcast正式啓動。我們精選Formosa Files的有趣章節或其它臺灣的歷史故事，經過兩位主持人Eryk Michael Smith與Eric Hsu（徐葆權）的重新詮釋，將用中文為大家帶來你不一定知道的精采臺灣故事！

在臺灣有個傳說：男性如果路上看到紅包，千萬不要隨便撿起來，否則很有可能會有人衝出來向你賀喜。這則傳說的背後是臺灣或中國傳統的「冥婚」習俗，雖然現今大概已經很少發生，而且臺灣跟中國相關的禮俗儀式也已大不相同，但是相關的故事依然流傳至今。這次的FORMOSA FILES中文版就讓兩位主持人一起在高雄旗津的「勞動女性紀念公園」裡，和大家聊聊臺灣的冥婚習俗。

臺灣在歷史上有許多漢人跨海前來墾殖，但是波濤洶湧的「黑水溝」、熱帶叢林的瘴癘之氣、甚至後來的民變械鬥等，都讓許多人橫死他鄉。其中一部分的人後來得到地方立祠奉祀，但這些祠廟長久以來因為供奉的是「鬼」而被稱為「陰廟」，也常因為信眾的三教九流而被汙名化。這次的FORMOSA FILES中文版就讓兩位主持人一起在高雄苓雅的「聖公媽」廟裡，和大家聊聊這座廟中有廟的奇特廟宇，以及臺灣的有應公信仰文化。

謝雪紅或許是歷史上臺灣與共產黨之間最具爭議性的人物。她生於日治時期，經歷大戰與戰後的混亂，還在228事件後帶領民兵對抗政府的鎮壓部隊；她從台共到中共，之後卻又因為遭到批鬥而失去黨員身分。或許可以這麼說：她是最心繫臺灣、也是最忠貞的共產黨人。但這樣一位堅強的女性，又是如何被共產黨鬥爭，因病而終呢？就讓兩位主持人一起來和大家聊聊，這位臺灣第一奇女子革命家的歷史故事。
