First off I have total admiration for Matt Davies who branched out and based his livelihood on an institution as inherently unreliable as Nottingham Forest Football Club. The breadth of guests and contributors runs the gamut from traditional football men to those waist high in stats and metrics. All of this is underpinned by Matt’s good humour and journalistic rigour and sobriety.

Isn’t it about time that UEFA and FIFA insisted that the manager of a national team originates from the country that they are leading?
If it’s good enough for the players why not the team manager and his staff?
It would give UK managers a route onto the world stage and not be block by second rate leads like England have at the moment.
