This is not a climbing podcast. Well, sorta. This is a podcast about choosing vulnerability and talking about our pain—and how we are all really just shining examples of this messy human existence.

Love this podcast… well I love the idea of this podcast! Reminds me a lot of The Dirtbag Diaries! The producing is great, it’s fun to listen to and I love the fact we are from the same state! However what completely kills this for me is how political it can be. It’s hard to listen to. I don’t listen to podcasts to hear people’s personal opinions or their political agendas. If it wasn’t for that last part this would be a 5 star review.
I discovered this podcast when I heard an ad for it on a different podcast that I listen to and it quickly became one of my favorites. It mixes climbing with beautiful stories of challenges and resilience. I highly recommend this podcast!
Kathy has so many gifts, and I’m grateful she shares them with her communities. This podcast habitually humanizes many shared experiences, and in doing so - makes many of feel like we have a sense of belonging. The production is clean, and the story telling often stops me in my tracks.
Genuinely one of my favorite podcasts! The stories are so powerful and feature equal parts heart wrenching and heart warming moments. I am always stoked for the first of the month during the season to hear what’s next
As a recently professed addict in recovery, I do not believe that stumbling upon episode 40 was a coincidence. I’m so grateful for the climbing and recovery communities. I feel heard. Also, as a dad in recovery, “The Letter” was such a great episode to reflect on from the eyes of my own children. Thank you for sharing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
