  • Some interesting stuff but difficult to follow

The context and the era is fascinating but I found that the conversation wandered all over. Before they went into any detail they’d change the topic again. It needs structure. Hopefully there’s more to come..

  • Great idea for a podcast

Amongst the many podcasts available this is definitely one of best available. To listen to two Utd legends discuss in detail about their time playing in Manchester United’s most successful period is superb.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Petr Cech: Five-time FA Cup hero & penalty mind games masterclass | Could It Be Magic
Q: What is Petr's favorite FA Cup final memory and why?
His favorite is the first Chelsea final at Wembley, one of the most iconic moments as it was the club's Wembley debut in that era, combining personal milestone with a historic setting, despite the game being difficult.
Harry Redknapp: What I'd do to save Spurs & how Kanu won Portsmouth the FA Cup | Could It Be Magic
Q: Harry, we've got to ask you about Tottenham. Your name's been linked to it, as long as side Robbie Keans and Glenn and Joe. What would you do if you did get the job?
You'd instill confidence, select a best XI, decide how to play, and work quickly to give the players belief that you can turn things around and take them to a better run of results.
Harry Redknapp: What I'd do to save Spurs & how Kanu won Portsmouth the FA Cup | Could It Be Magic
Q: Obviously, you've coached loads and that, but what's the difference between being a coach on the sidelines to being the man standing up there in the technical box and it's all on you?
The main difference is the responsibility and accountability; you're the one who must lead, make decisions, and inspire belief in the team, both in game management and in shaping sessions and strategy.
Drogba’s big studs, Micah’s grunt, and having Gareth Southgate as your Godfather | Could It Be Magic Ep4
Q: What is your goal when preparing for penalties?
I always aim to do my homework on the players and think they will revert to their successful penalty spots in high-pressure situations.
Drogba’s big studs, Micah’s grunt, and having Gareth Southgate as your Godfather | Could It Be Magic Ep4
Q: How did being in a football household influence your career?
Growing up around football greatly influenced my development, with constant guidance and support from my dad.
