Lindsay does such an amazing job of bringing out her guests’ personalities. It is obvious how comfortable she makes them feel! Many of these are higher profile athletes who we don’t really know much about aside from what’s reported in the media, so it’s fun to learn about their food and nutrition habit, get to know them a little more and learn a new tip or two along the way.
This podcast delivers unique but specific content related to the health habits of a wide array of professional athletes. Lindsay asks the questions that you wish you could ask these people if you ever met them in person. Lindsay’s style is wonderfully direct - she’s a very good interviewer who seems to do a lot of homework in advance of each guest. This is a real hidden gem of a podcast.
Lindsay Berra, who is a journalist with Men's Health and formerly ESPN and MLB.com, does a fantastic job interviewing these elite athletes regarding their nutrition and training. From NFL, MLB, NBA to NASCAR drivers, it is an engaging pod.
This is a great pod to listen to when you’re feeling unmotivated and need a little lift. Listening to these athletes describe their training regimens and philosophies on nutrition can’t help but make an impression on you. Lindsay is an engaging host and skilled interviewer and her easy, cool style really draws the best out of her guests. Also her NJ accent is adorable.
I really enjoyed how these athletes shared so conversationally about habits and goal setting. Relatable even for the weekend warrior.
