We're both fairly settled, which feels… odd. Maybe this weekend will change it all, but we have two versions of building very similar GW1 teams: one trying to stave off the early wildcard, and one embracing the early wildcard.

The most scattershot, vibey preseason pod of the bunch so far. There are simply far too many budget guys to thoroughly talk about all of them, so we jump around like psychos, guys here and guys there.

Been listening to these guys of a couple of years now. They’re always informative and, despite FPL often being frustrating, they always make me smile. I listen to a lot of pods and this is the only one I choose to pay for.
I’ve only listened to a couple of podcasts for 10+ years, this and Around the NFL (now Heed the Call). These guys know FPL, but they don’t let that get in the way of good fun. Be prepared for insightful analysis, Walsh’s gut feel being right a ridiculous amount of times, but more importantly, to laugh every single episode. This isn’t kid-friendly because of the language, and it may take a little while to get used to the shorthand (they have a thesaurus on their website to help!), but these guys ... more

The more I listen to other FPL podcasts the better I like this one.
Theres plenty of good FPL discussion and insights - but it’s delivered in a refreshingly ‘real’ way with the right sense of fun and perspective.
It’s a chat with mates at the pub - when everyone else is offering university tutorials!
A freight train of hot takes, self deprecating laughs, and a dash of expert insight. A must listen for me every week.

A sharp, results-oriented take on Fantasy Premier League and football culture, delivered with blunt humor and practical strategy. Hosts discuss early-season planning, pricing, fixture swings, and a mix of data-driven insights with gut feel, often featuring banter about specific players and teams. Noteworthy is the conversational, no-nonsense vibe and willingness to challenge conventional wisdom, plus regular sponsor reads that blend casually into the flow. The show appears to cater to serious FPL players who want actionable tactics, lived-in manager experience, and a community-like vibe through ongoing banter and opinions.
