The story I listened to included a woman named “Aino.” The English translator mispronounces her name, or says a different name altogether, like “Iva.” It’s totally inconsistent and just gives AI slapdashery vibes. Also, loaded with ads that can be removed with a subscription at their website, but why would I want to subscribe when so little effort has been put into simply getting the characters names correct???

I really like the format and variety of stories. Finnish isn’t easy, and this is a great tool for any beginner to intermediate level Finnish learners. I like that the story is at first read clearly, and is then slowly repeated sentence by sentence bilingually. This is a great addition to my Finnish language tool kit.
