  • Flesh and Blood, but at a bar with friends

This is one of my favorite podcasts. Imagine you’re at a bar hanging with two of your closest friends and you’re talking about Flesh and Blood and having a beer or three.

    That’s what this show is.

Sometimes it goes off the rails but it’s always entertaining.

  • Competitively Casual

This is a podcast for people who love the game but aren’t looking to make it a job. It’s hilarious to listen to Abbie reign in Logan and Jordan. Highly recommend for all player types.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 234 There's Like...Seven Omens w/ Joshua Scott
Q: Should multiplayer modes like free-for-all cheapen the game's design space?
The guests argue that multiplayer modes can coexist with 1v1 design without cheapening the game, as long as the focus remains on balance and fun, and that organized play can support both formats.
Episode 235 On Chocolate and Cheese w/ El Dorte
Q: What are you excited about out of Omens for CC?
They expect Omens to bring meaningful new cards and synergy, with Aurora and Asilio highlighted as interesting contenders; the team predicts several heroes will rotate in and out of CC as battlegrounds and mastery packs shift the meta.
Episode 218 Silver Age Un-Chaned
Q: What's everyone's favorite and least favorite classes and why?
The hosts favor Assassin for contracts and the RPG-like feel, while Illusionist is disliked for its highly polarizing matchups; Warrior and Runeblade are praised for their balance of consistency and chaos, with Runeblade often celebrated for its unpredictable, high-variance plays. They discuss how classes feel in practice, the agency each offers, and how their playstyle aligns with strategic goals.
Episode 217 Getting Slippery Out There
Q: If you were entering an RTN tomorrow, what would you play between Huntsman and Mario?
The hosts would choose based on their comfort and rep; Huntsman has consistency, but Mario has higher power, so the decision would be a feel-based one the night before.
Episode 213 Lullz
Q: Should LSS recognize the important role Talishar plays for the community by adopting it as an official free testing platform and integrating it into their site?
Both hosts agree that a formal partnership to integrate Talishar as an official, but not fully digital, testing platform could be beneficial, providing onboarding tools and tutorials while avoiding full-scale official client development.
