I support CCA in the fight for better managed resources and appreciate very much what they do. But I find it concerning that CCA uses alcohol as part of who they are. Alcohol destroys many lives everyday. Not sure if I will be renewing my membership?
I’m a CCA member and enjoy the podcast. I’m in my 60s and have watched our fishery decline big time over my lifetime. There are several factors involved. Commercial and recreational overfishing, pollution, technology, regulatory mismanagement, greed, corruption, etc. It’s sad to say but Man Will Destroy What He Touches. The day will come when there are no fish left for anyone. Keep up the fight CCA.
Keep up the great work! Could you do a podcast exploring the possible regs, etc that could come out of the next Speckled Trout Amendment?
Thanks guys for your support of our fisheries! Anyone, and I mean anyone who fishes our waters know the stock is dwindling! I can’t believe we are still the only state allowing out of control fishing by the commercial side and keep cutting the recreational angler. If they would just stop inshore trawling our fishery would rebound remarkably fast! Keep the nets out of the estuaries, it’s pretty simple but greed keeps winning out. KEEP FIGHTING!!
Great podcast and thanks for what you all do to try and save our fishery. I’m optimistic, but unfortunately until all the corrupt greedy irresponsible people in charge of all this are out of power, we will see no change. Thanks again from a concerned CCA NC member.
