I love them! I just with Nick is a little less miserable sometimes. He seems to be so “over” everything at almost all times. Joseph for the comedy and Nick for the detailed review! I love them and wanna meet them one day but I’m in NYC lol - what I love about them is that we get the technicality from Nick and the more “everyday person” opinion from Joseph which I like. You get both in 1 podcast/ YouTube review.
These two gay homosexuals have me hooked with their biting analyses and candid opinions. There are times when their takes are a bit more neoliberal than I’d prefer, especially when Nick talks about Ayn Rand, but I love their unapologetic framing of their views anyway.
Fish Jelly is an absolute gem of a podcast! Nick and Joseph strike the perfect balance with their insightful, witty commentary. Nick, who could easily be described as a walking cinema encyclopedia, delivers an incredible wealth of film knowledge. His critiques on cinema will make you feel like you’re taking a masterclass in film history. As knowledgeable as Nick is, he manages to keep things accessible for all audiences by breaking down complex film elements in an easy to understand manner whic... more
“Cozy”, huh? Yes, cozy. These two dear, funny and smart men are people I’d befriend if we lived in the same town. We are the same age and so I enjoy their point of view and contextual references. I enjoy their musings on all things food and film. I’ve learned about some older films that I have not yet seen that are now on my list. This podcast makes me feel at ease and relaxed, while also educational. Thank you, gentlemen :). I appreciate you.
I came here from YouTube. I can’t get enough of Nick and Joseph. They are the best movie critics out there. I love the way they’re not afraid to be honest if a movie is terrible and they provide the comic relief to their reviews. They are the best YouTubers/podcasters out there. I literally only trust their reviews.
