  • Favorite Podcast!

I absolutely look forward to listening to this show everyday, to the point where I dread their vacations because it deprives me of a chance to listen in. My only constructive feedback would be that whomever edits and posts the podcast ought to be a little more careful and consistent because the episodes are often late and occasionally large chunks or even entire episodes are missing.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Argentina has lowest remaining odds to win World Cup, Top 10 QBs list, Can Spain beat France?
Q: Did they get it right? Is Josh Allen now ahead of Patrick Mahomes on the top quarterback list?
Greg Jennings argues that while Mahomes is elite, Allen has matched him in many categories and benefits from being in a similar tier; the debate centers on projection versus current season performance.
France vs. Spain preview, Lamar Jackson ranked 69th in NFL Top 100, David Ortiz joins
Q: What are your expectations for Yamal today?
Dax expects Yamal to be a difference-maker, not solely through goals, but through drawing defenders and creating space for teammates, with potential for a big game if he can exploit wide areas.
Brazil beats Japan, Ja Morant traded to Trail Blazers, Are the Warriors building a Big 4?
Q: What do you make of the Ja Morant trade to Portland?
The panel sees it as a potentially bigger move, not just a single swap, with Portland exploring star acquisitions (like Jalen Brown) to create a top-tier, two-way roster that could alter outcomes in the West, though there are doubts about overall fit and long-term sustainability.
Lionel Messi scores brace in Argentina win vs. Austria, Would Giannis to the Celtics be a good move?
Q: Would the Celtics be title favorites if they acquire Giannis?
Yes, the consensus is that Giannis would instantly elevate Boston to the top tier of the East and likely the league, especially when paired with Tatum and a strong supporting cast, though depth and fit would need to be managed.
USA beats Australia without Christian Pulisic & Advances to Round of 32, Bob Bradley joins
Q: Do you think the US can make a deep run given the home advantage and the two wins so far?
Yes, the hosts have a strong combination of home crowd energy, depth, and tactical cohesion under Pochettino, which could carry them further into the knockout rounds, though final outcomes will depend on matchups and staying healthy.
