  • 10 minutes to know if a game is good for your family and friends

Derek is descriptive and concise. I love that he avoids board gamer slang and talks about how each game plays with kids. The kid commentary is always entertaining.

Even the "long" episodes are under 20 minutes. Why not try it?

  • Lovely, well-edited, doesn’t overstay its welcome

I’ve been looking for a board game podcast that’s easily digestible and fun to listen to; too many out there are long, unedited, and kind of boring. This podcast is just the opposite - it’s interesting, fun, and edited quite well. And each game he spotlights is excellent! An instant sub from me!
