Kevin C Olahan's project to make Irish stories more accessible had grown into a storytelling behemoth. Along with each story, beautifully and thoughtful told, listening get to hear a little about Kevin's process in translating works into (or in many cases, *back into*) an oral format, striving toward a story that lands "as clear as water". This podcast is a delight to listen to for storytellers, those looking to reconnect with their Irish culture or ancestors, and anyone who loves a good craic.
I stumbled upon this podcast from another great one (the world myths and legends podcast cast by Daniel Alison, I highly recommend that one too!) and for the last few days I’ve hooked. Kevin tells the stories I’ve been dying to find and haven’t had much success. I’ve always wanted to hear all the tales about the fianna and other Irish mythology.
