I relisten to these episodes regularly and they never lost their shine. I’m now playing them for my English bf and he’s hooked. Thanks for such lovely focloir episodes!!
Finally I found a folklore and storytelling podcast! I just listened to the first 7 minutes and I already know that it’s exactly my type of thing! Many thanks to you and greetings from germany!
I absolutely love this podcast and love Kevin's voice and storytelling abilities. I love the folktales and fairy tales tremendously and despite not having much interest in mythology have enjoyed those episodes.
Well sourced, analysed & re-adapted for modern oral storytelling. The host excels at tying the threads between the stories/cycles into a cohesive narrative.
I can’t even put into words how awesome this podcast is. I’ve wanted to understand the folklore and mythology of my Irish ancestors, but it’s just not something that is easily accessible like Egyptian, Greek or Roman myths. I love that the the host is truly a bard in that he makes the stories his own and let’s them grow and live through his telling, while also explaining how he adapted them and also staying true to the spirit of the sources. Thank you for doing this podcast.
