I listen to the podcast to stay up to date on current movies without being exposed to all that woke nonsense.
But what really bothers me is how Chris treats Alan. It sometimes feels like a narcissist abusing their partner in a toxic relationship.
These guys are Disney through and through. One has a kid and talks like it. Other guy is sober and talks like it. They are meh for guys in there 20’s and 30’s. There reviews are fine. It would be better if they talked like they were not talking to children and parents.
I was a slave to Filmcast for years. But the over wokeness was too much. Finding this podcast after hunting through many is a Godsend. Smart people, passionate and fair. All I wanted and exactly what I got. Then exceeded that. Thank you for being you.
Not insightful. They don’t actually talk much about filmmaking, mostly talk about politics.
The hosts spend more time talking about politics than movies.
