Dr Miguel Toribio-Mateas on ADHD Body and Mind
Q: Can you say a little bit about your upcoming book ADHD Body and Mind?
The guest explains that the book is a compassionate guide to rewilding the nervous system, covering neuroscience, nutrition, gut-brain health, and integrating spirituality and self-care, rather than prescribing a single protocol.
Survival for Sensitive Souls with Zeenat Ahmed-Peto
Q: Can you share what your ideal and essential self-care look like, especially when energy is limited or pain is high?
Ideally, I'd like a slow morning with stretching, tea, a warm shower, time in nature, a leisurely breakfast, and movement between sessions; essentials include sleep as the cornerstone, followed by stretching and walking, with rest when needed to reset the body and mind.
Survival for Sensitive Souls with Zeenat Ahmed-Peto
Q: Would you be happy to say a little bit about how you got into this work and what you're currently focusing on, including your book?
I entered this field to save my own life after chronic pain and a long healing journey; my work blends hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT, EMDR, and sound healing with a neuroscience-backed approach, and my book Too Kind, A Survival Guide for Sensitive Souls, emerges from wanting to help people who tend toward people-pleasing and self-neglect learn to care for themselves first.
