  • Effed around and found out

I found this pod a few months ago and I’ve slowly and diligently been working through episodes and it’s been amazing. I listen while getting ready for work and when I find myself home alone. It’s like having friends around talking about things that truly matter. I’m in the diversity and equity field in academia. I’m a first gen college graduate so I’m still learning, unlearning, and relearning and this pod helps me do that. Thank you for all you do!

  • I love this podcast.

I am someone who is very interested in issues of liberation and have been through my own journey with my body. (Haven’t we all?)

This podcast has been a great supplement to the work I have done in eating disorder recovery. And bonus points that it’s also looking at issues of sex and sexuality, becuase it’s ALL intertwined.

    I love this podcast.

  • The podcast I didn’t know I needed!

These two fine humans have hit on something beautiful. As I enter a whole new, compounded level of pressure to fix what’s “wrong” with my perimenopausal body, listening to the hosts break down the problems, mistreatment, and discrimination fat people face with curiosity and candor is a breath of fresh air! This show is informative, funny, poignant, and just irreverent enough. I can’t wait to hear what they’ll do next!
