This was fun! I hope you decide to cover TNG as well. The core characters are as clever, interesting and affable as any late 20th century TV detective and many of the episodes are fundamentally mysteries. I started listening to Gerry and Iain’s commentary of Columbo and happily followed to their new show dissecting Star Trek. more
My favourite podcast duo.Loved them in the columbo podcast loving this one so far too.
Funny thing is I find myself enjoying this podcast despite not being a serious fan of Star Trek, and, in particular, not having seen the original show since it was on TV regularly in my childhood. I barely remember all but a few of the more-memorable episodes (bar a couple I watched on Netflix recently when I briefly had access to that service - it does make good lockdown 'comfort viewing' I find...maybe just because it's associated with my childhood, or maybe because, like the Sherlock Holm... more
An excellent show from the fab guys from the Columbo podcast. more
I found these 2 when I was looking for a podcast on Sledge Hamer TV show and I have been following them ever since. I love how they explain in amusing details what happened in the episode with funny but new and fresh points of view. I feel like I am being told a story. Thanks guys, for all the work you do!
Made by the same people who brought us The Columbo Podcast, amongst others. Knowledgeable and humorous. One host is the "expert" and the other a complete newcomer. Great interaction between the two. Funny too!
Intelligent, thought provoking discussions about the original Star Trek episodes. Love it.
