I never miss an epysode about the psychedelic records. I’m not even a podcast person but these speak right to me!
I’ve learned a lot about albums I already knew, and even more about some that I wasn’t aware of but should have been.
Well researched with great interviews with original members of bands. Fun and informative stuff!
Each episode is a deep dive into a performer or band you may not be that familiar with. By the end of the podcast though, you realize how impactful they were as the foundational building blocks of the musicians you have heard of. I’m sure each episode requires a mountain of research and interviews with either the artists or the people standing next to them. Very well done.
When you thought you’d hit the bottom of the psych well, you gotta start digging. Great stuff Farmer John, cheers from Sweden!
Thank you, Farmer John, for creating this wonderful repository. I’ve only listened to three ‘Epysodes’ so far and need to set aside time for the rest. There are so many interesting stories and tidbits of info that would otherwise be lost to history that are now captured and archived. Please continue this important work.
