  • Unfortunate

Speaking as a lifelong Adventist and believer in creation it’s unfortunate This guy is full of Baloney — peddling false tales of alleged news in the United States like about banks not serving Christian organizations that are not backed up by fact. He belongs in the tinfoil hat club. Stick with the facts and biblical teachings and stay out of the conspiracy cesspool.

  • Science supports the Bible

Thanks Dr Ashton for sharing in this podcast. The truth is not popular anymore and you can see it in all aspects of our society. I can also see that some of them found your podcast as well. Please be encouraged. The fight is not easy but we all know who won in the end of the controversy.

  • Don’t bother with this podcast!!!

Unless you’re a committed creationist (regardless of the lack of reliable evidence for it), this podcast is a waste of time.

Presented by Dr. John Ashton, who I hoped would give some good scientific arguments for young earth creation, I listened to(endured) about eight episodes. This podcast is full of hearsay, fallacious thinking and doubtful references (mostly from suspect young earth creation sources). I was disappointed that Dr. John, with a PhD from a reputable institution in a science ba... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

ATP Synthase: Nature's Rotary Motor Decoded - FAS2611
Q: Is there any part of the protein synthesis system that could evolve on its own and still be useful?
The guest argues that the interconnected nature of DNA, reading machinery, and ribosomes means parts cannot function in isolation without the entire system, suggesting that gradual evolution of such a complex, utilitarian mechanism would be unlikely or require non-natural explanations.
ATP Synthase: Nature's Rotary Motor Decoded - FAS2611
Q: So can a machine like a molecular turbine motor evolve to spin at such precise speeds and efficiency? Is that even possible?
The guest responds that while there are multiple components and regulatory systems, the implication is that the level of precise coordination and the specific functional requirements imply that Darwinian random mutations are insufficient explanations, pointing to design and supernatural origins as explanations for the observed complexity.
The Science of the Soul: Mind vs Brain - FAS2609
Q: So, Dr. John, how does your ability to create information, such as through your thoughts, words, ideas, et cetera, prove that you're more than just a physical body?
The host asks about how information creation implies a non-material mind, and the guest explains that thoughts and information are stored non-materially yet rely on a material substrate, suggesting a non-material aspect to consciousness and free will that cannot be fully explained by atoms and energy alone.
The Real Reason God Won't Show Overwhelming Proof - FAS2602
Q: Have you ever struggled with doubts about God's existence or known someone who has?
The conversation emphasizes that even skeptics may overlook evidence when their beliefs dictate what they want to see.
