amy zellmer is a godsend. finding this podcast after my concussion, when i couldn’t read anything on a screen but could listen and learn, was so helpful in educating myself about resources for tbi and pcs. it’s so helpful to hear from amy and her guests about their experiences and to take the tips and apply them. bottomless gratitude, amy zellmer!!
So in the span of 2 years, I have suffered 3 major concussions. First- head on collision via automobile accidentât 45 mph, 2nd- fall from my horse which also sustained T12 fracture, and 3rd, another fall from runaway horse. Needless to say, I won’t stop riding but, my confidence, health and mental repair has been nothing but a struggle. There is always a but....Not to be too critical, but the host tends to hijack the narrative to give the specifics, over and over again, of how she was misdiagnosed. I feel we miss out on points that the guests could’ve elaborated. Kudos for putting this podcast together, though.
