  • My favorite weekly listen!

Love love love Annie and Nick, have been a reader since the xoVain/ITG days. They’re brilliant, kind, creative, and have a lot of thoughtful reads on current beauty and business trends. They should really start a beauty crisis PR firm. This podcast is as educational as it is entertaining, and I hope the work stays joyful for them! Thank you!

  • Annie is not okay

This podcast used to be my favorite to listen to - so much that I now pay to listen. That said Annie needs to take a break until she is well enough to participate in thoughtful conversation. Her support and promotion of Kanye is shameful - going so far as to threaten to buy his merch because she is “poor”

Nick could handle this podcast on his own with guests while she takes a much needed break and isn’t so “sleepy” that she cannot speak properly

  • The best!

I love all Annie and Nicks insights—they’re well spoken, have funny candor and definitely have their finger on the pulse for all things cool, while being honest and down to earth. I also really appreciate their nod to the importance of the environmental impact in the beauty industry and beyond.

This is hands down my favorite beauty podcast. It’s a sort of dark / dry humor you have to love in order to understand and appreciate. Nonetheless, this podcast is witty, funny, and educational. I’ve been an Art Director in the beauty industry for 7+ years, and it’s my go to to make sure I’m in tune with all beauty news.

+ love that this ties in arts and culture! All of my interests wrapped into one!

Ep 127: Jenna Lyons on 'Life After Death,' Reality TV, and Getting Scrappy [Re-Release]
Q: How do you separate your identity from being Jenna from J. Crew?
It was challenging because my entire professional identity was wrapped up in that brand. I had to learn to navigate life without that title.

S3 Ep109: Peloton’s Cody Rigsby: The Seinfeld of Cycling [Re-Release]
Q: Do you create an outline of even points you want to hit, or is it all off the cuff?
A lot of it's off the cuff, but if I think of something, I jot it down in my notes.
S3 Ep109: Peloton’s Cody Rigsby: The Seinfeld of Cycling [Re-Release]
Q: How did that class (XOXO Cody) come about?
I always envisioned it as a fitness class mixed with an advice column, because people would write in like relationship and love advice.

Q: How do you recommend enjoying ice cream?
Prepare your body by increasing insulin sensitivity through exercise before and hydrating afterward to avoid a blood sugar spike.
