Good stuff but Mal needs a better microphone and whoever’s phone keeps ringing needs to turn it off for the duration of the podcast
Content is great but the audio on Mal is dreadful with random delays mid sentence. Also on the latest episode someone had notifications on so there were loud ‘pings’ constantly. I had to turn it off. If they could fix the audio & know to turn off notifications when recording it would be a lot better.
Delightfully in-depth analysis of baseball, people, and family.
Authentic, with tremendous range, they go back and forth down memorable lanes.
Listen. If you love this stuff, you’ve arrived at the destination.
Love the podcast. How come I can’t find any new episodes

He should be fired immediately and cannot see this being positive for his new baseball team
Last time I’ll listen. Too bad enjoyed Griff.

A recurring strength is the duo's willingness to weigh analytics against traditional approaches, while leaning into fan culture, spring training buzz, and international play like the World Baseball Classic. The show stands out for its candid chemistry, long-running familiarity, and ability to translate complex baseball concepts into approachable discussions, making it appealing to serious fans and casual listeners... more
