Psychoanalysis is often correct but it’s a failed enterprise because it’s ideas and practice haven’t been widespread enough. The unexamined, most basic human instincts have rendered the planet unlivable. The only object relation that will matter from now on is the searing heat and climate chaos that will displace millions and dismantles civilization. Jung and James Hillman realized this. Get out off the therapy couch and into the streets.
