  • Interrupt less please

The content is really intriguing and the guests are great.

Please do some reading about how to properly host a podcast. It’s more about the content and what your guest, the subject matter expert has to say. Ask thoughtful questions and then be quiet and allow your guest to finish a thought without constant interruption and comments.

Makes it hard to enjoy the show with you distracting from the guest’s commentary.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#371 How to Use AI Without Losing Your Voice or Judgment
Q: What is an AI Faker and how does it relate to becoming AI Augmented?
An AI Faker is someone who uses AI in ways that may not reflect true expertise; the discussion clarifies that while many people are AI Fakers, the goal is to become AI Augmented by leveraging AI to enhance, not replace, domain knowledge and judgment.
#371 How to Use AI Without Losing Your Voice or Judgment
Q: Why did you write the second book?
The author explains that the second book focuses on individuals rather than managers, aiming to help people not fear AI, and to illustrate how AI can augment personal capabilities rather than replace them, drawing from learnings of the first book.
#372 Using AI to Write Better Books Without Losing Your Voice
Q: So, how do I leverage AI most effectively without becoming dependent on it, where I'm more AI augmented than I am at the mercy of AI?
AI should be treated as a supportive tool that enhances strategy, research, and editing, while the author remains responsible for judgment, voice, and substantive expertise. Use AI to generate options, refine ideas, and improve readability, but ensure human oversight, factual accuracy, and a clear, defendable point of view.
#368 AI Augmented Redesigning Insurance Around the Customer
Q: What first off, what problem space are you really solving? And how is AI helping?
The problem is ensuring third-party providers have the insurance coverage they claimed, so claims pay out reliably and customers aren't disrupted; AI helps by enabling deeper, faster, and more contextual understanding of policies and the required coverage, while aligning human expertise with automated workflows to drive better outcomes.
#367 How Mid-Sized Companies Can Beat the Giants with AI
Q: What is a key risk when adopting AI tools too quickly?
Assuming AI can clean up bad data; AI amplifies existing issues, so data governance and a single source of truth must be established first to avoid accelerating poor decisions.
